Self Storage Association Asia (SSAA) is the only regional industry body for the fast growing self storage industry in the whole of Asia. Self Storage, in major cosmopolitan centres and housing estates is a fundamental need for both residential and commercial purposes as quite simply, cities are running out of space.

The SSAA is working pro-actively with current and potential facility owners, investors, and suppliers to achieve strength in unity as a community for long term growth of the industry. Through our membership services, we currently engage our members by way of education, information, marketing, events, advocacy, and networking.

This is an excellent opportunity to start your career in this field of work. In this position, you will:

• Have a regional role working with companies throughout Asia
• Manage your own projects
• Work within a team but independently
• Have input into the biggest regional decisions for marketing, design, and events

We are seeking a positive, creative, and hard-working marketing, events, and communication specialist. You will have exposure throughout every country in Asia and get to work independently with executives in multiple languages, on different projects, and get premium exposure within the community.

The candidate must:

• Be fluent in English + Cantonese, with strong proficiency in Putonghua skills, read, written, and spoken
• Be proficient in design programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator,your  (InDesign a plus)
• Be willing to learn simple website design platforms including WIX (some basic html coding may be necessary but possible to learn in office)
• Be confident to call + email executives and members in all three languages to work with them through membership services
• Be proactive in order to work on their own and as a team
• Create and manage local and regional events
• Be capable of solving problems and finding better solutions for various implementations
• Be comfortable in handling general administrative duties
