Job Description
Responsibility:
- Provide daily backup & recovery administration service
- Perform tuning and verification on backup solution
- Monitor backup environment closely and planning for upgrades before problem occurs
- Provide technical advice to application development teams by reviewing the backup requirements of the applications systems, and identifying the best solutions for implementation
- Support operations team by identifying, defining and developing utility software to assist the smooth and stable running of the backup systems.
- Perform backup/recovery related software patch management
- Perform storage related hardware/software administration
- Develop system documentation
Requirement:
- University graduate preferably
- 2-3 years experience on enterprise grade backup/recovery administration. Banking experience will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of Netbackup
- Good command of spoken and written English and Cantonese
- Solid interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Able to work independently
- Ad-hoc non-office hours work is required to support production change.
