Responsibilities

• Responsible for system analysis, design and Java web application programming
• Provide application implementation services for in-house projects
• Provide system support on more complex user enquiries and production problems
• Lead and guide developers to complete assigned jobs and provide day-to-day system support
• Assist IT Managers/SSAs on project management, team management and vendor management
• Establish quality assurance processes and testing strategies

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years working experience in Information Technology
• Solid experience in systems design / development and testing methodologies
• Solid experience in implementing projects of various sizes
• Experience in Java, J2EE, EJB and XML
• Experience in WebSphere, Hibernate, Spring framework and DB2 or other RDBMS are definite advantage
• Familiar with SDLC cycle, UNIX platform and UNIX shell scripts
• Knowledge in Insurance, Data Warehouse, Fund Admin and financial systems is a plus
• Able to lead a team to complete jobs assigned
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively with all levels
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior Analyst Programmer
