Overview

 

As a Marketing Manager -based in Hong Kong, you will be responsible for leading sales & marketing strategy and engagement process over a range of products, driving marketing activities and initiatives in parallel with King Flair’s business strategy to overachieve targets, increase revenue, optimise growth, and sustainability. You will uphold general managerial values over a team of marketing personnels and lead the team to meet the division’s goals and objectives.

The Marketing Manager will be expected to foster, penetrate, and strengthen customer and factory relationship, through their understanding of product lifecycle, customer strategy and industry trends. Develop business opportunities and widen manufacturing network in a productive and business compliant manner to drive annual business growth with product segment.

The ideal Marketing Manager will have a good balance of sales & marketing strategic and tactical expertise. A proven track record of growing a business, market penetration, and development of OEM products with exposure to overseas and/or Mainland China vendor liaison. Demonstrate sales and general management values that will contribute to your personal growth and success of the organization.

  

Requirements / Qualifications

 

  • Degree holder in the discipline of Business (minor in Marketing or Merchandising would be preferred) or Engineering
  • Min 8-10 years of sales management experience within the household and/or kitchen appliance industry
  • Proven track record of growing a business and consistently exceeding business expectation
  • Experience in market penetration and development of OEM/ODM products
  • Prior experience in factory and manufacturing plant management with exposure to overseas and/or Mainland China vendors liaison will be highly preferred
  • Proficient with merchandising and marketing commercial terms
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in English, Mandarin, and/or Cantonese; Written English and Chinese is a must
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (words, excel and powerpoint)
  • Demonstrate sales and general managerial values- ranging from strategic and tactical sales expertise, sales and marketing performance, strong sense of ethics, business integration (internal and external stakeholders)
  • Possess strong knowledge of the sales & marketing engagement cycle and concepts within the respective industry
  • Able to retain, hire, train and lead a team
  • Good time management and ability to exhibit critical thinking, problem solving and organization skills to the team
  • Mature and motivated leadership skills, with ability to articulate and set an overall goal for the division and business in whole
  • Possess the desire to become the next generation leader
  • Traveling is required
