This jobholder will supervise and coordinate the work of a small team of Trims Merchandisers, and ensure the good merchandising support to the different teams of the company.

Products : Buttons, buckles in materials, like brass, alloy, imitated leather, polyester, etc

Key responsibilities including:

• Conduct Trims Research to meet the business needs across all brands and bench marking all materials and trims in Asia market to achieve cost saving objective 

• Monitor the sample development processes and work with related parties and counterpart in HQ for approval of trim samples

• Prepare SMS sample according to company’s production timeline. Co-coordinating working schedules among the production team; updating trims status to related department.

• Prepare Production Forecast to Trims Suppliers (including sampling & approval of new color)

• Work closely with QA, Lab and tech team on all material/trims testing report

• Supervise the production process, identify potentials problems and provide solutions on quality issues

• Daily communication with trims suppliers, garment factories, internal colleagues & Italian office

• Provide professional advice from souring to production, identify potential issues and recommend solutions

Requirement:

• Tertiary educated or relevant qualification

• At least 5 years or above solid experience in Trims Management and broad knowledge of product development and manufacturing of garments and accessory. 

• Excellent command of spoken and written English & Chinese 

• Strong raw material technical knowledge and trim sourcing network

• Excellent communication, negotiation skills and time management skills

• Good leadership skill with experience in supervising a small team

• Proficiency in MS applications e.g. Excel and Word PowerPoint
