Job Description
Job Responsibilities

Lead the product marketing team and develop life and general insurance products that meet market and customers' needs

Develop product strategies for all business lines and distribution channels in support of the Company's goals and market needs

Design innovative products in accordance with marketing strategies, while balancing competitive needs with company profit standards

Lead the cross functional project team and manage the product development & implementation process from idea generation to launch
-
Help to implement a disciplined process for evaluating product ideas with the business development team and management
-
Develop and plan all cross-selling initiatives to grow direct business and monitor the effectiveness of direct marketing programs including telemarketing

Develop and implement customer relationship management strategies
-
Conduct feasibility study on new product ideas and work on the business case
-
On-going product maintenance including product enhancement, competitive analysis, etc.
Job Requirements
-
Degree holder in Actuarial, Marketing, Business Administration or related disciplines
-
Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in insurance product development, of which at least 5 years is at managerial level
-
ACII, FCII, AAII, FLMI or other related professional designation in Insurance is preferred
-
Strong understanding in sales, marketing, underwriting, claims processes and mechanisms in the insurance industry
-
Be proactive, creative and mature with strong political awareness, good communication, interpersonal and project management skills
-
Possess excellent leadership, people management skills and have proven track record in leading multi-function teams
-
Ability to work under pressure and apply good problem solving skills to work with people at all levels

- Experience in drafting policy provisions
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint 2007 or above
