English Copywriter (Contract Based)

Responsibilities

• Taking Copy developed for North American markets, and making it appropriate and relevant for Asian markets and consumers.   
• Needs strong local insights and strong craftsmanship.
• Ability to work across various IMC platforms: TV, radio, print, digital, retail, social, etc.
• Articulate strategic direction into powerful advertising communications
• Work as a team with an Art Director, Account Manager and other colleagues.
• Support/facilitate the mandatory adherence to requirements, processes and procedures.
• Ability to effectively prioritise workload and exercise time management skills. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree - English or writing emphasis preferred with 2-3 years of experience in advertising agency preference for CPG; pharma creative experience where applicable.
• Evidence of creative ability/talent (e.g., book of work).
• Must have strong writing abilities--articulate and persuasive across advertising disciplines.
• Previous experience of regional wide campaigns
• Ability to cope with pressure (multiply assignments at times) and meet deadlines.
• Good client presentation skills demonstrating a clear vision of how the work addresses the client challenge.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a larger team in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English is essential. Chinese or other Asian language writing skills are useful.
