Job Description

Background:

Working as a Hong Kong IMC Section Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the expatriate management programme, including global processes, assignee relationship, vendor management, technology and operational service delivery.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for end to end service delivery for all levels of expatriates located in Hong Kong, providing a high touch, personalized services.
  • Proactively working with expatriates to manage their affairs and ensure the services provided are efficient and transparent to ensure a seamless service.
  • Principal IMC point of contact for HRBP's and other key stakeholders on global mobility issues.
  • Technical expert on tax, equity, immigration, social security and payroll compliance.
  • Responsible for making pragmatic and efficient decisions around policy application - Advising HR business partners on mobility policies and balancing both business needs and global governance.
  • Accountable for overall client and user satisfaction for the population of expatriates, ensuring that the IMC service delivery meets key metrics.
  • Managing policy exceptions within the global exception management framework; resolving mobility related issues and escalating when needed.
  • Responsible for day to day operational interfaces with HR Shared Services to ensure that operations are being managed across the whole end to end process.
  • Prepare and sign off Cost Estimation for all new assignment ensuring proper approval process.
  • Identifying and discussing policy and process improvements. Participating in education and facilitation of Mobility training workshops to relevant stakeholders.
  • Involvement in various mobility projects as required.

 

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in international mobility management
  • Experienced in dealing with: international assignment, global mobility or expatriate management issues.
  • Bachelor degree in Human Resource Management or related discipline
  • With additional technical knowledge in the areas of employment law, tax, social security, payroll compliance and vendor management would be desirable.
  • Possess excellent client service and relationship management skills to engage top management and work with stakeholders from different cultural background
  • Possess good organization, planning and analytical skills, and the ability to manage several initiatives simultaneously
  • Customer oriented mindset with strong communication skills
  • Experienced in leading team (one contractor reporting to this role)
