Responsibilities

• Execute product development programs
• Collaborate with manufacturing partners from ideation, feasibility to mass production to ensure project timeline is met
• Work independently in sourcing, preparing quotation enquiries and following up product development related tasks
• Liaise with customers and suppliers for technical issues arisen from projects
• Assist in product qualification, perform sample evaluation from prototype to mass product samples
• Provide market research and technical input to other functional teams
• Manage detailed product documentation from specification, verification of international standards to compliance certification
• Vendor qualification and audit, production process, product quality assurance and control
• Identify potential suppliers in line with the company’s product development direction
• Perform other duties as assigned

 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in manufacturing/sourcing field, preferably in consumer electronics industry
• Experienced in managing critical milestones in product development, including prototyping, sample testing and production
• Capable of creating product specification based on customer’s ideas
• Able to communicate technical matters and interact as a team player
• Possess good problem solving skills and schedule-oriented mindset
• Able to engage in projects by making use of your good technical and communication skills
• Knowledgeable with mechanical and electronic designs will be a plus
• Able to work efficiently and effectively under stress involving tight deadlines, strong analytical ability and detail oriented
• Positive, team work mentality, international and global mindset with good communication skills
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Travel to China is required
• Immediate availability preferred
