Responsibility:

• Oversee all merchandising objectives independently
  
• Deliver sourcing strategies & solutions according to buyers' need, company policy and EU jewellery & watch standards such as CIBJO / REACH / RoHS
  
• Communicate design ideas with vendors to enhance merchandise diversity
• Create & maintain high standard supplier portfolio 
  
• Initiate & maintain positive interactions with German colleagues and key vendors

Requirements:

• Strong business acumen, strong critical thinking skill & calm personality
• Passionate and good understanding of fine/fashion jewellery merchandising
• Mature, diligent & able to alter according to changes in priorities, projects and new ideas
  
• College or above, with tertiary training in business or supply chain related discipline is preferable
• Minimum 10 years experience in jewellery field  (held position in Product Development / Merchandiser / Project Coordinator / Sales Executive)
• Familiar with EU buying office / mail order logistics / German clientele and knowledge in GIA / FGA / AQL is an advantage
