This role is a one of the key role in WBA's Asia buying teams which works closely with internal and external stakeholders in championing sourcing solutions at cost and quality requirements. You will take the responsibility of end-to-end project management to deliver maximum Synergy savings for WBA.

Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities include:

• OEM/ODM Toys & Children’s items product development (including novelty confectionery)
• Assist in project management to achieve KPIs: Synergy benefits, margin improvement, on time delivery, first time inspection rates, LEAN savings, and lead time reduction,etc
• Support line manager to drive project team and suppliers throughout the process to deliver continuous improvement
• Build product category expertise in the responsible areas to become sourcing champions
• Negotiate the commercial benefits to bring the best value products to our customers
• Negotiate the best optimum cost with suppliers to enhance the profit margin
• Identify the best in class manufacturers and build supplier relationship
• Maintain accurate data records in system / database

Key Position Requirements:

• Tertiary education with 5 years or above sourcing / merchandising experiences in retail sourcing office (US and European markets)
• Experiences in seasonal novelty confectionery is a plus
• Local and overseas project/ Order management experiences
• Good understanding on US product testing requirement
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese
• Ability to work under pressure and changing landscape
• Occasion travel may be required (Asia focus )
