The position offers unique opportunities to get full exposure to M&A markets and to familiarize on Private Equity transactions in Asia. The role will primarily involve researching and logging these transactions into a database.

Main duties and responsibilities include:

• Remotely manage a team of Data Analyst.
• Working closely with other research heads to devise and execute product objectives and goals.
• Refine and develop workflow processes and practices to effectively and efficiently minimize turnaround time.
• Accountable for ensuring overall delivery of content on the specific database.
• Performing desktop research on real-time M&A transactions
• Ensure optimal resource allocation and efficiencies by setting up KPIs and reviewing processes.
• Maintain and update the transactions database.
• Maintain and update the profiles database.
• Prepare monthly reports for management reporting.

Following qualifications are expected for an ideal candidate:

• Good Command of English and Chinese.  Japanese and Korean language is a plus.
• A Business, Finance, Economics degree or equivalent preferred but not essential;
• Detail-oriented, diligent and with a genuine interest in M&A/Corporate Finance
• Understanding of financial statements;
• Good computer skills (especially Excel);
• Highly numerate;
• Knowledge of research methodologies;
