Responsibilities

• Support the head of trading with daily routines, including trade execution and booking management
• Monitor market activity and provide feedback to portfolio managers
• Ensure trades are undertaken with 100% accuracy in line with the fund managers’ objectives
• Perform activities in a legal and compliant manner.
• Liaise with operations desk to deal with trade/settlement/corporate actions issues.
• Ability to anticipate problems and effectively follow up

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Finance/ Mathematics / Physics or related disciplines
• 1+ years of trading experience on an Equity desk or a hedge fund
• Have had exposure to both cash equity and equity derivative products.
• Have a good work ethic, willingness to learn and a high level of attention to details.
• Have willingness to work the hours necessary to achieve daily objectives
• Have fixed income knowledge is a plus
