Assistant Information Technology Officer (Server Administration) (Ref. 161007-02)

Duties

The appointee will be required to:

(a) manage and support Microsoft Windows, CentOS, Ubuntu, Redhat Linux Servers, VMware virtualization infrastructure;
(b) maintain Windows Active Directory (AD) domain controller, AD Group policy;
(c) support administration of SharePoint Server 2013, design and develop e-Form and Workflow by Nintex 2013 application;
(d) support administration of Microsoft Office365 and Azure, VMware vCloud Suite;
(e) maintain Linux Proxy, Apache, DNS and cluster system; and
(f) perform any other duties as assigned.

The appointee may be required to work on shift duties in evenings and weekends, and may station at different campuses.

Qualifications

Applicants should have:

(a) a recognised degree in Information Technology, Computing Studies or a related discipline;
(b) two years’ relevant post-qualification experience; and
(c) good interpersonal and communication skills.

Preference will be given to those with solid experience ILM, ISA, Radius, SCOM, SCCM and Altiris; blade server infrastructure; and hands-on disaster recovery experience in Windows and Linux infrastructure.

Shortlisted candidates may be invited to sit for a written test.

Remuneration

Salary offered will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
