Production Manager (Ref: PM08102016)

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage the production department and warehouse with PIC/S GMP standard.
• Ensure staffing, production process and documentation are complied with GMP requirements and production plan.
• Plan, communicate and implement the manufacturing strategies.
• Achieve production target within budgeted cost, time and quality attributes.
• Maintain adequate and accurate records for controlling and monitoring conformity to specified GMP requirements.
• Work closely with Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Engineering Department to achieve production target and GMP compliance tasks.
• Assist in performing investigation to production deviation, validations and change control.
• Assist in vendor approval.
• Responsible for training of production personnel.

Qualifications and Experiences

• Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science, Pharmaceutical Technology or equivalent.
• At least 5 years solid experience at supervisory level in GMP manufacturing in Pharmaceutical industry. Chinese medicine manufacturing experience and knowledge is an advantage.
• Self-motivated, independent, enthusiastic, emotionally stable and able to work under tight schedule.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, good team player, able to interact with staffs in all levels.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Mandarin).
• Knowledge of Chinese medicine is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS office and Chinese word processing.
• Immediate available is highly preferred.
