Our client, a leading bank with aggressive expansion plan in Hong Kong, is looking for a Data Management and Big Data Associate on their technology change and development of the Data Analytics platform. It will have exciting new project and development across the firm. Great remuneration and growth with sound project exposure.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the business in Marketing and Strategy to drive the data structure and data management across design, development and implementation.
• Provide technical proposal on new data platform where it will fuel business growth. 
• Manage the end-to-end data platform implementation which may include new system and application acquisition, new data source capturing, user requirement gathering, proposal buy-in, design & development, UAT and training etc.
• Work closely with external vendors on the system development and ongoing support.
• Prepare datamart to facilitate data extraction and data mining model development. 

Role and Responsibilities:

• Experience in Data Management, Data Structure, and Data Analyst across consumer banking or finance related industry.
• Experience with Big Data related technology and system is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset and understanding of different statistical methodologies / scorecard development.
• Exposure with or huge interest in Hadoop / Spark / Scala is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese.
