Job Duties:

• Follow exact procedures and requirements for laboratory operation and running
• Perform routine service tests and result analysis
• Constantly monitoring and evaluating the quality of the test from performance statistics
• Cost estimation
• Verification on laboratory reagents, chemicals and consumables
• Stock checking and procurement of lab supplies
• Equipment maintenance and cleaning
• Documentation work

 Requirements:

• Degree or above in Biomedical Science/ Medical Laboratory Science/ Life Science or equivalent
• A registered MLT Part II of the HKMLT Board
• Knowledge in molecular diagnosis, genetics, cancer and/or DNA laboratory operation
• 2 years of related experience, but fresh graduates will also be considered
• Experience in DNA and RNA extraction, PCR set up, DNA sequencing, real time PCR, and other related techniques is preferable
• Team player attitude, self-initiative, responsible, independent with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Needs to perform shift duties
• Maybe required to work outside normal office hours
