Our client is a top-tier Global Investment Bank. To support its rapid business expansion in Asia, they are looking to recruit an Application Support Analyst in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities 

• Responsible for all issues that arise from end users
• Troubleshoot and diagnose production issues by monitoring, problem detection and resolution
• Provide real-time production application support
• Function the FX Global Trading Applications / platforms and  downstream systems
• Ensure effective communication with clients on any critical issues related to the FX and other business areas
• Build tools to assist in the maintenance of the environments
• Performance optimization for the total system
• Working with other technologists, providing subject matter expertise in analyzing / addressing complex systems components and processes
• Provide & distribute technical documentation to users and other support team members

Requirements

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related disciplines preferred
• Minimum 5 years' relevant working experience in finance industry, preferably in banking and brokerage firm
• Justify solid experience on supporting large scale and real time mission critical systems
• Knowledge of Foreign Exchange / Equities / Securities Finance business process flows is a must
• Fluent in spoken and written Cantonese and English is a must
• Excellent desktop troubleshooting and performance analysis skills
• Good knowledge of Oracle, UNIX, SQL & Windows
• Knowledge of TCP/IP in an enterprise environment
• knowledge of Middleware (MQ Series, etc.), and J2EE applications is an advantage
• Self-motivated, able to work independently under minimal supervision
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
