Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Manager, Product Development and Graphic Designer, to ensure merchandise and packaging graphics requirements are created in a timely manner.
• Produces artwork ready for use by manufacturers or printers in standard graphics image file formats.
• Creates images and designs by using traditional hand skills of drawing and painting alongside IT to solve practical and creative design briefs.
• Uses computer-aided design packages to scan images, change sizes, colours and other elements to meet the constraints of cost and time.
• Keep abreast of developments in IT, particularly design programmes such as PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator, and FreeHand.
• Works well with printers, copywriters, photographers, other designers, account executives, website designers and marketing specialists.
• Assists with the Graphic Designer for shops.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Graphic Design or equivalent
• 2 years or above experience in graphic design and creative installation
• Knowledge in packaging structure, as well as output and print production
• Experience working related to merchandising and retail shop environment
• Strong in problem solving, brainstorming, visual organizational and communications skills
• Artistic styling for photography
• A sharp eye for detail
• Familiar with Macintosh operation skill and graphic software in Illustrator, PhotoShop and InDesign
