Responsibilities: 

• Assist Team Manager in managing HK PR Translation Team
• Responsible for producing English and Chinese news summaries, and news headline and full article translations
• Proofread and edit translated documents
• Deliver quality translations with tight schedules
• Any other duties assigned 

Requirements: 

• Tertiary education in translation, English studies or journalism, preferably with a higher degree;  
• At least 3 years' solid experience in English and Chinese translation and editing; experience in translating Chinese-written news into English is highly desirable;
• Experience in training junior translator and/or responding to translation request is preferable, but not a must;
• Excellent writing skills in English and Chinese;
• Mature, meticulous, highly organized, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines;
• Well versed in MS Office applications (including Word, PowerPoint and Excel);
• Normal working hours are from 8:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with possibility of extra duties beyond working hours if situation calls for.
