Reporting to the Fund Operations Manager, you will have extensive exposure in hedge fund industry for back office operations processing, including but not limited to, trade booking/processing, settlement and confirmations, and handling corporation actions of hedge funds with dynamic trading strategies across different financial markets and investment products. You should have fundamental knowledge and experience in the funds industry.


Responsibilities:

• Daily booking/processing of clients’ trades
• Confirmation on trade details between client’s and counterparties’ records
• Liaise with different hedge fund clients, execution brokers and prime brokers
• Monitor and follow up on daily settlement process for different markets and investment products
• Corporate actions handling
• Daily trading positions and cash reconciliations against counterparty records
• Identification, investigation and resolving discrepancies on the reconciliations  
• Calculation and generation of clients’ fund NAVs
• Generate various risk exposure reports
• Support all aspects of ad-hoc reporting
• Perform month-end close processes
• Work with various products including bonds, swaps, equities, options, FX, repos, and futures
• Be able to work towards the agreed client deadlines and manage client expectations accordingly

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related fields
• Willingness to work on public holiday to accommodate and support clients’ requirements
• 1-3 years working experience in fund administration & hedge funds is an advantage
• Sound knowledge of different types of investment product
• Positive working attitude and the ability to work with minimum supervision and under pressure
• Strong communication skills
• Strong computer skills, particularly Excel
• Hardworking, self-initiated and good team player
• Good command in both Cantonese and English
• Fresh Graduates are welcome
