The Industrial division has now increased to more than 500 employees in the region and their  extensive portfolio of industrial references includes factories and complexes for such companies as Crown, Heineken, Khmer Brewery, Knauf, ABB, Dow Chemicals, Procter & Gamble, Schneider, Heinz, Unilever, Danone, Coca Cola, Campbells, Mondelez, and Exxonmobil. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overall management of the project: teams, site organization, document organization, safety, quality control, contract management and budgetary management.
• Implement Project Management Quality Management System, associated tools, processes and procedures to ensure site activities are appropriately controlled and monitored in accordance with  standards.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System and Project Management processes.
• Ensure the resourcing level on their project(s) is appropriate in terms of numbers and skill level of employees.
• Plan, schedule and estimate budget, ensure that projects remain on time schedule and within budget.
• Enhance client liaison to ensure that objectives are being achieved and a good relationship is maintained at all times; assist where necessary to develop new project management business.
• Participate in Group discussions regarding technical developments and improvements for project management.
• Ensure at all times good communication channels are maintained between the project team, contractors, clients and the office.
• Work with the legal team to ensure that contract management is well maintained, including the annual contract review, and also to follow any claims made on the project to the best outcome for the company..

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent: min 3 years of study.
• Major: project management, civil or mechanical engineering.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Seniority: Minimum 10 years of experience, preferably in a consultancy company.
• Managing Experience: at least 4 - 5 years as Project Department Manager.

YEAR OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Project experience: Industrial project management, Food, Pharma, Chemical and Industry sectors. (Essential)
• Language: fluent English in both spoken and writing. 
• Advanced client management skills, including demonstrable high levels of persuasiveness, negotiation skills and inter-personal skills.
• Attention to detail, particularly in respect to contractual requirements, design/site drawings, quality of finishing works and construction standard methods.
• Experience in management of multicultural project teams in an international environment.
• Budget management of projects to ensure best.
• Previous experience in South East Asia is required.
