Monthly Salary Range:  HK$10,775 – HK$18,945

Duties:  The appointee will assist the lecturers in providing technical support in the operation and maintenance of a teaching laboratory; and in conducting student practical sessions. Duties include: experiment demonstration, laboratory setup, attending to practical classes, tests and examinations.  He will also need to assist in maintaining the operation of teaching venues, such as Laboratory and Specimen Room, etc.  Evening, Saturday and Sunday duties are sometimes required.

Requirements:  Candidates should be a graduate of Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent; and preferably hold an Associate degree or Higher Diploma related to science. He should be good in written and spoken English and Chinese (preferably both Cantonese and Putonghua) and proficient in computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Working experience in a Science or medical laboratory is preferred. He should be a good team player with effective interpersonal & communication skills, able to work independently as well as willing to take up responsibilities.

Terms of appointment: The duration of the contract is 9 months.  Salary placement will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
