Responsibilities

• Work with vendors to meet the development and production schedules.

• Cost negotiation with vendor and Sourcing.

• Product cost evaluation of new products quote by vendors.

• Guide through products development from design to production.

• Monitor product quality throughout production. Troubleshoot quality issues and provide corrective plan.

• Work with vendors and Planning teams to manage and prioritize production demands.

• Work with vendors to implement and monitor incoming materials quality and quantity check procedure.

• Monitor factories for ongoing QA and COC compliance.

Requirements 

• Minimum of 5 years working as an engineer within toys products manufacturing.

• Engineering and quality control experience.

• Good knowledge of product development processes and production planning experience.

• Fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin a plus.

• Frequently travel to China.

• Experience with toy safety standards.

• Knowledge on CAD including model making process and injection molding tool design is preferred.
