Our client an IT Vendor is seeking a Middleware Specialist for their Insurance client.
Requirements:
- Experience in leading complex regional infrastructure transition and transformation project
- Expert in Middleware technologies including but not limited to Citrix XenApp server, IBM WebSphere Application Server, IBM Cognos, IIS, HTTP, JBOSS, IBM WebSphere MQ, , Tectia SSH server etc.
- Understand the client organization, culture and infrastructure deployment
- Able to communicate with the MIS supplier, external and internal stakeholders.
- An ability to understand the technical details and communicate the essentials at a high level is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Act as Middleware SME and focal point in Data Center Management Programme and work closely with all the other streams and countries’ project managers
- Design and develop the Middleware transition and transformation methodology
- Works with application developers and MIS supplier to troubleshoot migration issues.
- May need to travel to different Business Units to assist in implementation
- Review and endorse the technical documentation and migration plan from MIS vendor
Deliverables:
- Weekly Status Report
- Regular update to Project Management Office on risks, issues, change, etc.
- Infrastructure Acceptance Check List
- Infrastructure Acceptance Report
- Assist Project Manager to produce Migration plan, transition plan and transformation plan
