Job Description

Job description and responsibilities:

The Assistant Manager (Operation) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the LHD Group Hong Kong Laundry Service Centre and the associated logistics unit. He is to ensure the effective and efficient management of Laundry Service Operators to carry out maximum output as well as managing the logistics fleet of transport. The Assistant Manager (Operation) is also required to liaise with international staff of the corporation in relation to software enhancements, operational issues and required improvements for the smooth operation of the Laundry Service Centre.

Education and Experience Requirements:

 - Degree level education preferred, fluent written and spoken English, Cantonese; Mandarin preferred;

 - A minimum of two years working experience in managerial and supervisory duties is required;

 - Demonstrated competency with computer programs such as Word, Excel etc., ;

 - Preference will be given to candidate with knowledge and experience in ISO 9001 and 14001 Certifications;

 - Ability to think and work on his/her feet, and make good recommendations or decisions when needed;

 - Ability to maintain confidentiality is critical;

 - Ability to work under pressure;

 - High level of integrity, accountability and attention to details;

 - Self-Motivated and be able to identify problems and suggest solutions;

 - Meets deadlines without compromising accuracy of work;

 - High Levels of Initiative.
