Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate and execute communications and publicity projects
• Perform marketing communication tasks, including media liaison and publicity, writing press release and features for fundraising activities as well as logistics support
• Copy-writing, edit and contribute ideas to agency communications materials including fundraising and donors’ communications materials and publications
• Plan, coordinate and liaise with internal and external stakeholders on the production of print materials
• Translate articles and materials from Chinese to English or vice versa as required
• Ad hoc tasks as assigned
  
  
  

Requirements: 

• Degree in Marketing, Communications or Journalism with at least 5 years’ relevant working experience in marketing, advertising or editing
• Solid experience in planning and managing communication and public engagement projects
• Knowledge of computer program language e.g. HTML 5, digital marketing, social media, email promotions, etc.
• Demonstrable of design and copy-writing skills; knowledge on photo and multimedia editing software such as Photoshop and Illustrator
• Creative with good interpersonal, project management skills and be able to work under pressure
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese including Putonghua
• Proficient in computer applications including MS Office and Chinese word processing
• Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision is highly desirable

Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Communications Officer
