Job Description

Our client is a renowned FMCG client and they are looking for an Assistant Consumer Insight Manager to support the rapid business growth in Asia. Reporting to Senior Consumer Insight Manager and you will be responsible for:

  

RESPONSIBILITY

  • Manage on a daily bases, implement and optimize the use and added value of syndicated research. Challenge research agencies to guarantee high quality standards on outputs delivered in a timely manner
  • Execute and support consumer research studies to consistently provide actionable issue-specific, timely guidance for planning and decision-making
  • Interact with brand team as a team player, to ensure clear communication/understanding and action related to consumer and customer opportunities
  • Ensure attainment of high standards of technical competence regarding research supplier selection, questionnaire design and analysis 
  • Provide research support to Marketing on specific ad-hoc projects + ability to answer quick questions from Top Management
  • Consolidate and review previously conducted market research to identify/”mine” consumer insights
  • Maintain fluency with new developments in research methods, technologies and services. Review and recommend as appropriate
  • Organize filing and access of all data (internal and external) relevant to the organization
  • Establish systems to facilitate the storage and efficient retrieval of research data esp. for product tests in line with R&D sensory panel manager

 

REQUIREMENT

  • University Graduate, good command of English & email communication skills 
  • A minimum of 5 years in market research preferably both in research agency and within FMCG company 
  • Able to analyze comprehensive data sources and make appropriate decision. Integrate intuition and data effectively and identify important issues and explore alternatives 
  • Able to work effectively in both a cross-functional and inter-cultural team and within an international environment
  • Flexibility, looks to continually upgrade
  • Computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite
  • Open, mature and self-driven. Able to work with people with different culture background
  • Able to play a good team role to fulfill cross –functional efficiency
  • Good communication skills in both Mandarin and English
