Job Description
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Develop and implement strategic and tactical fundraising plans to meet donation targets.
- Plan and manage regular and ad hoc events for fundraising and communications purposes.
- Ensure timely and professional communications on all printed and electronic platforms.
- Proactively develop and manage donor relationship including identifying new donors to expand donor base and deepening ties with existing donors.
- Lead or support in developing business cases and proposals to seek funding support.
- Work closely with all operation heads of HKBCF to ensure that their services are timely and accurately publicized and communicated with the stakeholders from both communication and fundraising perspectives.
- Establish effective processes and systems to manage our communicationsand fundraising activities.
- Plan and control event and fundraising budget.
- Manage external agencies and service providers on an ongoing and ad hoc basis
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required, master's degree a plus, with a major in PR, communications, marketing, event management or related disciplines
- 10+ years’ experience in fundraising event or PR and/or communications, with 5+ years in a managerial position.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese
- Well organized, detail oriented and capable of prioritizing and advancing multiple projects simultaneously under pressure
- Proficiency with digital marketing, social media and other emerging communications vehicles.
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to work with people from a broad range of background internally and externally
