About the Role:

A well-established financial services company is looking for an Assistant Manager / Manager for overseeing the editorial and publishing work in relation to the firm’s publicity, marketing, promotion and other functions. The editorial and publishing work covers a wide spectrum of the firm’s printed and electronic publications, including newsletters, e-bulletin, marketing literature, product brochures and leaflets, press releases and speeches, etc.

The appointee will work with colleagues in the Communications Department to plan, research and prepare the above publications, also support on corporate event management and media relations. He/she will edit write-ups and ensure that the work produced is of quality and commensurate with the status and reputation of the firm.

About You:

Successful candidate should possess a recognized bachelor’s degree, preferably in English Studies, Journalism, Communications or Translation, with substantial post-qualification experience in editorial, publishing work and copywriting, preferably in higher education or PR consultancy. An excellent command of both English and Chinese languages is required. Applicants should also possess excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills as well as proven organization and management skills. They should be articulate and able to communicate as well as work with people of different personalities and at all levels. Self-motivation and ability to manage competing tasks are required. Solid skills in the fields of marketing, public relations and web publishing are preferred.
