Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage all Request for Quote (RFQ) activities at model/SKU level that yield competitive and comparable quotation across the vendor base.
• Collaborate with internal partners based in US and/or Asia throughout RFQ processes and cost reduction initiatives
• Drive improvement in profitability through activities such as

o   Spend analysis across vendors

o   Implementation of competitive pricing models

o   Identification and execution of ongoing product cost saving opportunities at vendors

• Achieve continued product cost reduction from negotiation with vendors, leveraging cost breakdown data, strategic sourcing initiatives and tools that could attain production efficiency across vendors, and various market/commercial factors. 
• Facilitate development and management of purchasing policies and processes

 

Education & Skills:

• 5-7 years’ experience in commercialization processes and best practices in a consumer product company, preferably with experience in outdoor products 
• Strong skills in communication and negotiation skills
• Good analytical skills, and proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes of consumer products required
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
• Travel in China throughout Asia as required
• Ability to work independently
