Our client is a real estate development and investment group in Hong Kong and China.

Responsibilities

• Drive the identification of business opportunities on land acquisition and value enhancement of investment properties in HK and China
• Carry out analysis of market dynamics to identify, advise and assist with site selection and acquisition
• Project lead on valuation. Drive the acquisition negotiations and the tendering process
• Work with the project team on valuation and assessment of redevelopment potential, buy/sell and alternative use of existing portfolio of properties
• Work with the commercial team to optimize investment returns
• Coordinate with internal and external parties, including vendors, engineering firms and technicians, to ensure transactions close within defined timeframes

Requirements

• Degree in real estate, surveying or related disciplines
• 10+ years of experience in the property field, engineering and valuation field with exposure in China is a plus
• Relevant experience from real estate investment gained from properties developer, real estate fund, REIT, asset management companies etc.
• Strong market knowledge and analytical skills,
• Familiar with the sourcing and evaluation process of investment opportunities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both written and spoken English and Cantonese
