Responsibilities:

• Report directly to Board of Directors (BOD) and Regional General Managers (RGM) of the Trading Division.
• Manage global database of company’s active and non-active counter-parties by regular coordination and communication with all regional trading teams.
• Periodically contact all non-active counter-parties under guideline of traders to check if there is possibility to cooperate / obtain updates on latest business activity.
• Conduct market intelligence and monitor competitors activity in each market and present key findings to trading teams & directors.
• Monthly presentation to BOD and RGMs on non-active counter-parties, market intelligence and competitors.
• Collect new contact's name card copy from Traders/BOD after each Business Trip and update the counter party list.
• Conduct Research on new business development as directed by BOD / RGMs.
• Send appropriate E-Greeting Emails to all active and non-active counter-parties based on their religious / national background i.e. Christmas greetings to only those with Christian background, Eid Greetings to Muslim counter-parties, Diwali greetings to only Hindu counter-parties, New Years greeting to all etc.
• If required, travel to visit new counter-parties to conduct due diligence / “know your client”.

Requirements:

• University degree graduate in Marketing, Business, International business, Economics or related discipline.
• At least 5 years working experience in a physical bulk commodity trading company, preferably with experience in Cement related and coal commodities in a MNC.
• Fluent in spoken & written English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills.
• Strong in excel and powerpoint.
• Able to work in a multi-cultural environment.
• Strong commitment to work, meticulous and organised.
• Positive attitude and open minded personality.
