Job Description
SUMMARY
Reporting to the Logistics Manager Asia Pacific, supervise international shipments, local deliveries and warehouse activities. This role works closely with Sales, Customer Service and Finance teams to deliver logistics service in highest standard.
Job Description
- Carry out daily operations, such as coordinate the inbound shipment process, prepare shipping documents with brokers and verify proof of delivery from transporter, to ensure shipments deliver to APAC correctly
- Coordinate with transporter in Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong delivery
- Quick response to any arising problems, complaints and resolve actively
- Data entry in system (SAP) and prepare reports
- Keep track of forwarder/ 3PL Warehouse performance, such as delivery times, transport costs and accuracy
- Review, modify and implement operation procedures to ensure a smooth workflow
- Drive continuous improvement and system enhancement to maintain competitive edge
- Perform any other duties assigned from time to time
- Travel and working in warehouse may necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management or related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years work experience (at least 2 years on supervisor level), years of relevant experience in SCM/ Logistics industry
- Eyewear industry and 3PL/ warehouse /SAP experience is an asset
- Knowledge in international and Asia Pacific shipping process such as Air Freight, Sea Freight and Courier
- Self-motivated and well organized
- Able to tackle and solve problems quickly and proactively
- Analytical and results oriented - able to succeed in fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
- Good working knowledge of Office Pack (Excel, Power Point, Word)
