Purpose and Objective of Position:

Financial planning and analysis oversight of DFS retail/ wholesale operations, reporting directly to the FPA Manager.

The role is the financial go-to resource for the Regional operations team and supports the Operational and Control Directors and VP.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Hands-on preparation of Forecasts, Strategic Plan and annual Budget. The process includes working closely with various cross functional departments to obtain information to facilitate completion of planning deliverables.  Identify trends, opportunities and risks and provide recommendations to Operations team.

• Lead the preparation of financial analysis on Capital Expenditure projects

• Lead month end close review, with focus on variance analysis to forecast, last year and budget.  Highlight any anomalies that require investigation to Accounting & Reporting team and the operation team.

• Assist Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis team with analysis to be submitted to the parent company (LVMH).

• Liaise with joint venture partner on capital projects, budget and strategic plans.

• Preparation of adhoc analysis, as required by Corporate and the Operations Team

• Participation in Business Development projects, as opportunities arise

• Prepare feasibility studies and simulations

• Identification of continuous process improvement

• Address queries from the Corporate office and Regions

• Guide non-Finance managers in understanding financial reports

• Perform other duties as requested in a diligent and conscientious manner

Requirements:

• Formal qualifications in the accounting / financial management fields 

• At least 3 years key experience in management accounting and/or business planning area.

• Accounting/ Financial management qualification

• Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and applications/programs and possess strong Excel spreadsheet skills

• Fluency in English language and Chinese
