RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reporting to Associate Directors of Investment & Acquisition Department, the investment executive’s primary responsibility is assisting the AD in the following matters:

 -  deal sourcing and deal structuring; 

 -  conducting financial analysis and market research;

-  working with project consultants, tax advisors, lawyers and internal departments on due diligence to generate report on legal issues, taxation and asset valuation;

 -  writing investment proposals for seeking investment committee approval on the investment;

 -  negotiation and closing of transaction;

 -  arranging project financing;

 -  participation in the set up of new funds including project pipeline construction, investor tours, investors Q&A, legal and taxation due diligence;

 -   and other matters relating to the normal course of business of the Firm.

• Working with the asset management team, and finance and operation team in monitoring the projects throughout the entire investment period including conducting financial analysis and reviewing of asset performance to recommend and carry out the appropriate investment or divestment strategies.

• Relationship building with joint venture partners, engaged consultants and service providers.

• Keeping the team abreast of real estate market, including latest developments in both equity and debt marketsas well as regulatory or taxation updates.

REQUIREMENT:

• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in either fund management company, investment bank, investment consultancy or property development company.
• University graduate major in finance, economics, commerce or real estate.
• Professional qualification such as CFA, RICS/HKIS, Chartered Accountant/CPA/ ACCA preferred.
• Financial modeling skills required.
• China investment experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese is required. Putonghua is a must.
• The investment executive’s work is diverse and highly competitive in the fast changing PRC market. Willingness to take on responsibilities, hands-on working style, good interpersonal skills and proactive personality are necessary to meet the challenges.
