Wine shop Assistant

Responsibilities:

•   Responsible for daily wine shop operations (retail)
•   Creating all invoices for direct sales
•   To follow up orders and maintain distribution
•   Manage wine promotions and ad hoc event
•   Develop customer network and maintain excellent business relationships whilst achieving sales targets
•   Explore potential new clients and sales networks
•   Maintaining current client relationships and identifying proactive ways to continue these relationships and translate these into longer term transactional opportunities
•   Ensure clients are appropriately managed
•   Follow up both new customers and existing clients

Requirements:

•   Sound wine & spirits knowledge
•   3 years sales experience in Wine or Food and Beverage
•   Experience in selling wine , F & B with catering groups (hotels, restaurants, club-houses, bars, retail chains, department stores.. etc.) is an advantage
•   Existing network of wine cellar channel will be definitely an asset
•   Excellent communication and relationship building skills
•   Good computer and internet skill
•   Independent, self-starter, responsible, detail minded, well-organized and multi-tasking
