FINANCE MANAGER

Based in Hong Kong and reporting to Controller Greater China, the role is expected to supervise the financial controllership section, prepare all necessary management reports, and ensure the compliance of the company policy and procedures.  Regular responsibilities include but not limited to:

Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the accounting team and ensuring payment/receipts, recording of financial transactions are done on a timely and accurate basis;
• Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of flash for the market;
• Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of relevant financial information to the users primarily the Controller and Market leader;
• Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of reports required by the government authorities and compliance with local regulatory guidelines/legislation;
• Maintain appropriate treasury and financial internal controls to satisfy SOX and Internal Audit requirements;
• Cashflow management;
• Assist Financial Planning , Analysis and Business Leaders in annual budgeting exercise;
• Support Business Finance Director in understanding the business operations of the Market;
• Drive and support Country financial initiatives and special projects;
• Plan and manage team resource in responsible Market; Attract, retain and develop people.

Requirements:

• University graduate or above in finance or accounting studies with more than 6 year relevant experience in a MNC environment. Previous experience with consulting, professional services or financial services companies preferred;
• Professional qualifications with CPA or ACCA preferred;
• Proficiency in Oracle and Hyperion financial system or equivalent;
• Familiar with SOX controls, governance, financial operations and corporate tax requirements;
• Highly accountable with strong work commitment;
• Mature, self-confident, open-minded, independent and detail-oriented;
• Strong analytical, leadership and coaching skill, able to empower others;
• Good communication skill and management skill; good presentation skill in presenting complex issues/data with high level of clarity and impact;
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin;
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
