Job Description

You will have a role to play in both the sales and the marketing side, major tasks include:-

  • Collaborate with Global BDM to map annual sales plan for current and new product categories into new and existing markets.
  • Develop the annual marketing plan and budget with clear objectives and measurable deliverables
  • Develop and execute strategies to facilitate growth of current network of distributors and agents for target markets globally (Oil & Gas, Marine, Mining and Construction and Industrial). 
  • Take hands on approach to pitch prospects where needed for major new business opportunities
  • Achieve sales growth targets by market and region
  • Oversee all go-to-market activities for new product launches
  • Attend and manage company presence at tradeshows
  • Develop and manage strong relationships with key customers and opinion leaders
  • Develop all training materials in collaboration with external suppliers and manage training program through the companies online and offline platforms to ensure strong product knowledge with all internal and external stakeholder
  • Engage and onboard external HSE consultants in multiple industries globally to build on existing consultant network.
  • Coach, train and manage distribution partners and agents to maximize their sales performance
  • Oversee development of all marketing collateral to brand guidelines.  Maintain a high-level of brand consistency and messaging across all the touch points. 
  • Oversee collaboration with external industry consultants to ensure brand is on message with industry terminology with industry relevant product positioning
  • Oversee leads and pipeline management in CRM system, as well as develop and execute initiatives to gather new customer data
  • Build CRM strategy incorporating segmentation, personalization and targeting to increase customer value
  • Manage and develop company web presence
  • Identify and build company social media presence and ensure that all relevant platforms are utilized to gain brand advantage

To be successful in the job, you should be/have:-

  • A good understanding of HSE requirements in the Oil and Gas, Marine, Mining, Construction, Industrial sectors or related industries
  • Aproven track record in sales and marketing in a technical field and strong product training experience
  • Prior experience in executing technical training programs
  • A team-player who functions well in a multi-cultural environment and possesses the ability to engage with different teams within the organization such as R&D, Marketing, Operations, and Accounting
  • Excellent English communication skill
  • Computer savvy, prior experience using Salesforce CRM, WordPress, InDesign, Google Analytics and Adobe Illustrator is a big plus
  • Excellent technical copywriting skills, as well as experience in writing creative briefs and managing external creative agencies
  • Able to travel regionally and globally.
