The Role

The job holder’s major responsibilities are to:

• Set and sustain the IT infrastructure & office systems strategies so as to standardize the system’s platforms for optimizing the cost of ownership
• Explore new technology and implement solutions to maintain the operating budget with the highest cost effectiveness
• Maintain the stability and reliability of the core IT infrastructure to meet the SLA required by the critical applications
• Establish the system & service monitoring, and the controlling process for minimizing the outage of IT services
• Monitor the backend infrastructure lifecycle so as to propose the necessary upgrade projects at the right time and manage the project funding & implementation
• Support the application development projects based on the cloud adoption policy, and provide technical solutions for the process improvement initiatives
• Monitor and manage the services (including cloud services) provided by external vendors to ensure they deliver the required service level as well as the customer experience to the IT users
• Derive and maintain the cybersecurity policy, monitor the potential threats impacting the IT services and take necessary actions to prevent the business operations from being compromised
• Contribute innovative ideas & lead the desired changes
• Provide mentorship for the team members and develop them to advance their competence and careers

The Person

The ideal candidate should have/be:

• Bachelor degree in Computing, Information Technology or related discipline
• At least 7 years experience in IT infrastructure and cloud implementation projects, with 3 years in a supervisory level
• Development experience with Microsoft Office 365 & cloud technology
• Good knowledge in NetApp and HP 3PAR storage systems
• Good knowledge in Cisco UCS, Networking solutions and cybersecurity
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
• Good leadership, project management and presentation skills
