The opportunity

Are you looking for an exciting international leadership role where you can truly make a difference and create an impact to business growth? If YES, we have a fantastic yet unique opportunity as Head of Operational Excellence.  

A successful Head of Operational Excellence will act as a trusted liaison & subject matter expert for the business team in the region. You will be held accountable for analysing existing systems and processes with a goal of gaining greater scale, increasing quality and delivering efficiencies acxross the business.

The geographic scope of the role covers Asia Pacific.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Functional leadership over the delivery of operational excellence across the region, ensuring that all countries have the appropriate operational capability and resource to support their country

  • Act as the APAC representative for Group initiatives relating to Assurance Services, Operations and delivery of the common operating model.
  • Conduct internal audits using relevant tools. Coach and transfer best practice within the region by inspiring countries to reach the highest maturity levels possible.

  • Prepare and monitor operational KPI’s, benchmark results and prioritise improvement plans supporting countries and sectors with the greatest need for improvement.

  • Ensure processes meet applicable requirements of ISO/IEC 17021, ISO 19011 and relevant sector based standards and rules.

  • Work with country operations to provide technical support for design recommendations and improvements for systems, workflow and IT tools and platforms to drive simplicity, cost reduction, workflow and productivity improvements.

  • Identify all Country and Schemes with limited regional capacity and drive capacity building and qualification for new start up programs (Assessors & Tutors) to ensure BSI is first to market in all APAC Countries, building capacity based on the use of qualified resources
