The Role: 

The Business Controller will work closely with the Regional CFO in coordinating with countries’ finance team and management and driving for the targets and improving the regional financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Report to CFO – Asia, Middle East and Africa (AMEA);
• Perform cash management & Treasury function for the region. Coordinate with Group Treasury on funding requests and prepare cash flow forecasts;
• Deal with bankers and related matters;
• Manage of dividends payments of all AMEA countries;
• Manage of intercompany loans within the region and Group;
• Responsible and driving to achieve the working capital KPIs (A/R & Billing);
• Handle inter-companies clearing and netting;
• Review and enhance accounting workflow, proactive in establishing best practices for the region;
• Provide support and advice on accounting systems, assist in integration process and the system changeover for the region;
• Coordinate with Group and maintain systems of internal controls and compliance;
• Compiling report and provide analysis for senior management review and decision;
• Prepare ad hoc analyses and work on special projects as needed;
• Occasion travel may be required.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar discipline with at least 5+ years working experience;
• Energetic, self-starter, and result-oriented;
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to apply sound business judgement;
• Experience in multinational corporate environment with matrix structure;
• Excellent communication skills and can work with different cultures and levels;
• Good command in spoken & written English;
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint. Hyperion knowledge is definitely an advantage;
• Willing to work under pressure, deliver results and meet tight deadlines.
