This role is a key role in one of  WBA's buying teams which works closely with internal and external stakeholders in championing sourcing solutions at cost and quality requirements. You will take the responsibility of end-to-end project management to deliver maximum Synergy savings for WBA.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Responsible for end-to-end delivery of specific NPD and any ongoing replenishment skus, to an agreed cost, quality and time
• Manage projects to achieve KPIs: Synergy benefits, margin improvement, on time delivery, first time inspection rates, LEAN savings, and lead time reduction,etc
• Support line manager to drive project team and suppliers throughout the process to deliver continuous improvement 
• Build product category expertise in the responsible areas to become sourcing champions
• Negotiate the commercial benefits to bring the best value products to our customers
• Negotiate the best optimum cost with suppliers to enhance the profit margin
• Identify the best in class manufacturers and build supplier relationship
• Maintain accurate data records in system / database 
• Occasion travel may be required

Key Position Requirements:

• University Graduate or equivalent with at least 5 years of solid experience in Sourcing and Buying environment
• Familiar with the US retail market, solid product knowledge and strong connection with supplier base
• Ability to multi-task and possess a high level of initiative and integrity under a dynamic and competitive environment
• Proven experience in liaising  independently with overseas buyers
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP System
• Ability to work under pressure and independently with minimum supervision
• Good team players with ability to work with associates from local and overseas teams
• Excellent command of English, Mandarin and Cantonese
