Job Description:

• Provide for Maternity Leave coverage from December 2016 to May 2017
• Implement and monitor Medical Equipment Management Plan
• Provide consultancy services for biomedical technology advancement in the hospital
• Provide advisory services on procurement, operation, commission and decommission of medical devices
• Install, calibrate, operate, maintain and repair all medical devices with the ability to liaise with vendors
• Schedule preventive maintenance of all medical devices and monitor all maintenance activities
• Arrange and manage corrective maintenance of faulty medical devices
• Record all maintenance history and evaluate the performance of each device
• Respond to and keep record of medical device hazardous alert and recall
• Investigate medical device incidents as defined under the local ordinance and document incidents
• Manage maintenance service contracts and monitor contractors’ performance
• Work on shift coverage from 7 am to 7 pm
• On call duties in times of urgent call needs and emergencies.

Requirement:

• Holder of a bachelor degree, or higher, in Biomedical Engineering / Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• Preferably with five years’ experience in managing medical equipment.
• Good communication skill with mandatory Chinese and English literacy, and fluent in oral English and Cantonese
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Good customer service skills, communication skills and team oriented
