Responsibilities:

1. Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly reporting:
• Prepare/manage the timely issuance of monthly/quarterly financial report packages for local and group management review
• Complete monthly close activities
• Develop information tools/management reporting key operating activities
• Build financial models and manage the analysis, reporting, and monitoring of operating results
• Identify and act on opportunities to automate, streamline and improve reporting and budgeting procedures
2. Ad hoc Analysis:
• Run reports and queries data using company’s financial software to collect information for financial analysis
• Model and maintain P&L, cash flow and balance sheet
3. Cost control:
• Reduce unnecessary spending by reinforcing and following up on cost control targets
• Proactively identify opportunities to lower costs and engage with business owners to achieve results
4. Additional:
• Actively participate in management meetings and effectively communicate and present analysis, recommendations, risks and opportunities

Requirements:

• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and analysis
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a business or financial analytical role
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel modeling and PowerPoint; Hyperion experience strongly desired; proven ability to utilize and learn financial software packages
• Proven track record of developing and supporting creation of ad-hoc analysis
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, multi-cultural, fast paced environment - flexible, team oriented, collaborative work style and a positive attitude
• Ability to complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy utilizing strong analytical and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Highly organized, motivated, detail oriented, a sense of urgency, and an ability to prioritize tasks
• Proactive individual that can build effective relationships with business managers and staff
• A strategic, creative thinker with superior analytic and financial capacity
• Strong sense of accountability and ownership, proactive problem solving skills
