Roles/Responsibilities

The Senior Project Manager will have responsibility over a number of areas, including:

Understanding the client’s needs, incorporating them into the research and communicating them to other project managers as required.

Working on their own projects and with other members of the operations team to ensure successful execution and completion of projects through:

  • Working to a budget and being mindful of costs and profitability of individual projects and clients;
  • Providing advice on project and questionnaire requirements;
  • Client liaison / servicing;
  • Communicating with panel partners and outsource operations company to ensure field requirements met;
  • Survey scheduling and set-up;
  • Sample specification;
  • Monitoring achievements of quotas;
  • Data checking and validation;
  • Communicating with the client during fieldwork on difficult projects;
  • Overseeing the communication with the client during fieldwork on standard projects if worked on by other team members;
  • Coming up with pro-active and intelligent solutions to any issues faced;
  • Training other members of the Client Operations team on any specific procedures, clients requirements or products as required.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • The candidate should have a minimum of two (2) years mainstream research experience, with a good understanding of traditional research and survey methods and data collection techniques.
  • Client management experience, displaying a solutions driven approach.
  • Excellent communication skills – specifically how to distil the issues, manage client expectations and communicate in a timely manner under pressure.
  • Familiarity with technological resources including Excel, SPSS and aptitude to use web-based survey tools.
  • Foreign languages are an advantage.
  • The candidate must be a strong self-starter, who takes on initiatives and responsibilities.
  • Experience in online research is an advantage but is not essential.
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Project Manager.
