Job description:

Our client is a global investment bank, they are looking for a senior support role for their Equity and Derivatives Department. 

Responsibilities: 

• Provide level 1-2 technical support on trading applications to E&D front office traders and external users
• Troubleshoot issues on all associated applications and run bridges during incidents insuring all required individuals are on the call and are actively seeking to resolve the issue(s)
• Design, co-ordinate, install and maintain vendor application solutions and exchange gateways 
• Document and maintain procedures used to resolve issues 
• Act as main contact with Development team to resolve recurring issues and build enhancements to improve the client experience, actively manage both bug and enhancement lists.
• Reporting regular updates to the business and management as required 
• Provide training to new internal users on applications 

Preferable skillset: 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Ability to multi-task and effectively manage time among conflicting priorities 
• Positive and proactive attitude 
• UNIX system Proficiency(Linus/ Solaris), scripting (Python, shell)
• Knowledge of ITIL is a plus
• Knowledge of vendor application (Ullink/ FIX, Fidessa, ORC)
