This role sits within the Data Centre Modernisation programme, a large transformational programme working with our outsource partner to modernise the Bank’s non-retail IT infrastructure platforms and applications. The role will be responsible for driving different aspects of the internal and external approvals.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• efficient planning, dependency analysis & activity coordination across all areas from start to finish
• perform necessary due diligence to identify risks / issues associated with each stream of activity
• management of Risk register associated with each stream of activity

Communications: 

• Project - regular written updates to key stakeholders within regional management, control functions and global/regional CTO.
• Formal -  agree with local Compliance / country COOs across APAC their requirement for a one-time notification to affected Legal Entity Boards.

Regulatory:

• Confirm with each APAC location whether regulatory notification is required
• Work with Commercial/Legal team & local Compliance to draft and issue notifications / manage questions from Regulators.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree with more than 7+ years experience in Risk Management and Vendor Management
• Proven experience in a project management or PMO role, preferably whilst working in an IT function
• Strong communication skills and experience in dealing with senior stakeholders both in business units and IT.
• PMI Certification, Prince2 certifications or PMI professional qualifications is required
• Fluent verbal and written English
• Regulatory engagement experience with any of the key Financial Regulators in the region, including:
• Hong Kong Monetary Authority
• Monetary Authority of Singapore
