Position Summary

FTI Consulting is looking for a Billing Specialist with experience within the commercial or accounting sector. This role will be working within the internal finance team to support all areas of FTI Consulting across Asia Pacific. Working within a team of 6, you will be responsible for all aspects of daily billing.

This position reports to the Finance Manager and will be working closely as a team member of the processing and transaction support team. This position will liaise/interact closely with Segments and other APAC offices and communicate well with external bankers.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare pro-forma, draft or final invoices
• Edit narrative or billing amount
• Handle write up/off or transfer form
• Ensure proper approvals in place for write up/off, invoice reversal/credit note
• Review engagement opening documentations against customer management system and accounting system
• Act as a close support for all Finance aspects
• Communicate with the transaction team and provide support to handle customer receipts
• Other ad hoc assignments

 Key Requirements

• Billing experiences in law, accounting and consultancy firms are preferred but not essential
• Degree/Diploma holder majoring in business or accounting subjects.
• A minimum of two years’ experience working within accounting or billing is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Meticulous with good attention to detail
• A self-starter, hard-working and organised
• Knowledge in Elite software is preferred but not essential
• Prior experience within a regional operating structure is preferred but not essential
