Responsibilities

• Liaise and maintain relationships with stakeholders from the education sector including representatives from school sponsoring bodies, principals and teachers
• Assess the concerns and needs from stakeholders in education and provide observation and feedback to the team for continuous development
• Develop and implement plans for promoting education innovation to the education sector and other stakeholders in education, including publicity, social media, and other online and offline marketing and promotion, etc.
• Organise events to spread messages on education innovation
• Build the community of education practitioners for continuous sharing of ideas, practices and experiences on education innovation

Requirement

• Passionate in education with commitment to drive innovation in education
• Degree holder with at least 2 years of working experience (experiences in education/ teaching/ PR & marketing preferred)
• Innovative, flexible, adaptable with open-mindedness to embrace new ideas
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English
• Confident and dynamic personality, responsible and mature
• Immediate availability would be highly preferred

Founded in 2015 by a group of Hong Kong educators, creative practitioners as well education and social entrepreneurs, Ednovators aims to co-create education innovation with tri-sector pioneers, and foster a more student-centric learning environment for the younger generation in the 21st century and beyond.

Ednovators strives for practical innovations in education. Through continuous dialogue and collaboration with education and tri-sector pioneers, we call for an enabling learning environment for students who develop and learn in different ways and at different pace, as well as nurture change makers for innovations in education.

Ednovators works with school sponsoring bodies, principal and teacher associations, schools, startups, education and parent organisations, etc. to delivers inspirational trainings and customised workshops on education innovation.

Ednovators is the partner of the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust to organise the [email protected]: Fellowship for Teachers. Its mission is to nurture teachers as change-makers and build their innovative capacity to drive innovation in education. Through local and overseas capacity building opportunities, cross-sector expertise and resources, as well as continuous involvement in a learning community, teachers plan and realise ideas and initiatives in schools to innovate in education.

We also collaborate with innovative organisations to organise the Jockey Club 'Ednovation Fest' which is a pioneer showcase of local and global innovations in education. Year-round events include seminars and panel discussions led by local and overseas scholars and social and education pioneers, workshops and incubation programs, which aim to catalyze education innovations. The Fest facilitates dialogues between schools and tri-sector pioneers to co-create betterment in education through innovations.

We continue to develop new initiatives to inspire innovation in education and support pioneers who are taking actions to improve education.
